“They dress my people’s wound, but on the surface only, with their saying, ”’All is well.’ All well? Nothing is well. They ought to be ashamed because they have practiced abominations with no sense of shame.” (Jeremiah 8:11,12 REB)
In January 2018 the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) dealt lightly with the gross priestly sex scandal in Chile. Now, with even more expose’, the chickens are coming home to roost in that all 34 RCC bishops in Chile have offered to resign.

SEXUAL PREDITOR PRIEST ONLY TOLD TO DO BETTER AND PRAY
“They dress the wound of my peopleas though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace. Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when they are punished, says the Lord.” (Jer 8:11,12)
The following article well illustrates how lightly the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) has historically treated sexual molesting priests and other higher-ups in the RCC. This problem is nothing new. It likely goes back hundreds of years, if not all the way back to the beginning of the church. Why?read more
Desperate Darwinists still Grasping Straws for ‘Missing Links’
Darwinists seem to be desperate to find some evidence of “missing links” in the fossil record.
“People who prophesy out of their own imaginations.”—Ezekiel 13:17 NIV
“Pursuing their own imaginations.”—Isaiah 65:2 NIV
“Your mind will imagine confusing things.”—Proverbs 23:33 NIV
Like the literal drunkard in Proverbs 23:33 “imagining confusing things,” Darwinists have been drunk on their own theories for a long time.
In a 2018 National Geographic article entitled “Dinosaur-Era Bird Found With Shockingly Intact Skull,” the author claimed “a delicate but remarkably well-preserved fossil skull is providing new clues to how birds evolved from their dinosaur ancestors.”read more
Appearance of Jesus’ Robe at Trial – Various Translations Help
What exactly was the appearance of the robe put on Jesus during his “trial” before king Herod, an administrator of the Roman Empire, as recorded at Luke 23:11?
“Then Herod and his soldiers began mocking and ridiculing Jesus. Finally, they put a royal robe on him and sent him back to Pilate”—Luke 23:11 NLT
Pilate could not find anything wrong with Jesus, and hoped to evade responsibility for what would happen to Jesus by shifting him over to Herod, who happened to be in town for the major festival of Passover. But to Herod Jesus is only a curiosity (Luke 23:8,9), and a joke (Luke 23:11). His curiosity, however, goes unrewarded, because Jesus “gave him no answer” and refused to perform any sign (Luke 23:11 NIV). Since Jesus refused to answer Herod’s many questions, Herod gets tired of it after awhile, and sends Jesus back to Pilate. But before he does, they put a robe on Jesus to crown their mockery of him. The appearance of the robe is difficult to describe, at least in English. This is only a minor detail, of course, but notice how many different ways and colors this robe is described as being in various Bible translations at Luke 23:11:read more
VATICAN ADMITS GUILT NOW IN CHILE SEX ABUSE SCANDAL
“She defiled herself with immorality and gave no thought to her future. Now she lies in the gutter with no one to lift her out.” (Lamentations 1:9 NLT)
How would you feel if your child had been sexually abused by a trusted member of the clergy, and when you found out and then brought the pedophilia to the attention of the higher-ups in the church, they pooh-poohed what you reported, claiming it never happened, and that you were the real problem, calling you a liar and a troublemaker? What if, instead, you were actually the abuse victim yourself, in the above scenario? What if you were called such a lying trouble-maker by the highest-ranking person in the church?read more
“Whoever says, ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.” (1 John 2:4)
The recent sexual abuse scandal involving the now disgraced Archbishop Anthony Apuron highlights once again the greatly entrenched long-term problem the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) both caused essentially and covered up! Why has this problem been so pervasive and persistent?
“And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions. All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth.” (Isa 28:7,8)read more
“Wisdom is a shelter the same as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.” (Eccl 7:12 NIV) Money certainly has some value. It is a protection, to an extent, and a gift from God also, in a way. Proper use of knowledge and wisdom is even more valuable, however. The folk saying ‘A fool and his money are soon parted’ certainly backs up this Bible proverb.
We need a balanced view of money. “Give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.” (Pr 30:8-9) Both wealth and poverty have their potential pitfalls. A person is usually much better off to be somewhere in the middle. The problem with always desiring more? “Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income, this too is meaningless.” (Eccl 5:10 NIV) Such a person is never satisfied. The greater a person’s desire for money, the worse it gets. “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” (1 Tim 6:10 NIV) Even a rich person without an inordinate desire for more money usually has problems that “come with the territory,” so to speak. “The sleep of the laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep.” (Eccl 5:12 NIV) A rich person has a lot of material things to think and worry about, unlike the average person who doesn’t have so much to worry about.read more
Critics of the Bible claim that there is no evidence of Jesus Christ’s resurrection. Could Jesus’ empty tomb possibly be evidence of Jesus’ resurrection.
“But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him. But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip. King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’ ‘Dear brothers, think about this! You can be sure that the patriarch David wasn’t referring to himself, for he died and was buried, and his tomb is still here among us.'” (Acts 2:23-29 NLT)read more
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…. Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light…. Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will serve as signs for festivals and for days and years. They will be lights in the expanse of the sky to provide light on the earth.’ And it was so. God made the two great lights—the greater light to have dominion over the day and the lesser light to have dominion over the night—as well as the stars. God placed them in the expanse of the sky to provide light on the earth, to dominate the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:1,3,14-18 CSB)read more
“You were slaves to those who by nature are not gods”—Galatians 4:8 NIV.
Macro-Evolution, or Darwinism has achieved god-like status in the scientific and educational communities. It has achieved such honor as a sacred-cow, that it is not supposed to be even questioned.
Darwinian evolution depends primarily on one thing: speciation, which is defined as “the formation of new and distinct species in the course of evolution”. Evolutionists claim they have lots of “proof” for this. However, when their claims are examined, (excluding the outright frauds, such as “Piltdown Man”), they are simply assertions, or assumptions without actual proof. The big assumption the theory hangs on is the minor variations within “kinds”, that is called Micro-Evolution. A typical example is the many different varieties of dogs, but they are all still dogs, no matter how much variation there is between them. The problem for evolutionists is that we don’t see dogs evolving into deer or bears do we? So Darwinists are forced claim that over long periods of time, such as millions of years, these large-scale changes occurred. The reason we don’t see them happening now is that over a relatively short period of time, say a hundred years even, these changes can’t be seen.read more
