Healings – For Christians or Non-Christians?

Healings – For Christians or Non-Christians?

In the first century, God gave the Apostles the power to heal. But who did they heal? Were these healings performed on other Christians, or on non-Christians? Or were both healed? Let’s examine the Bible to find out.

Healings of the Apostles
Did the Apostles heal other Christians, or did they heal unbelievers?

Timothy was advised to drink wine for his stomach illness, not to be healed. (1 Tim 5:23)

Paul endured a “thorn in the flesh,” but was not healed. (2 Cor 12:7)

Healing Miracles – What Does the Bible Say?

The gift of healing was given by God on occasion in the Bible as a demonstration of his power to perform miracles. But can miracles come from a bad source? Are People Divinely Healed Today?

God can do all things that are good! But are people divinely healed today?

Are people still healed today?
Does divine healing still happen today?

“With God all things are possible.” (Mt 19:26) Just because God CAN do all things does not mean he actually DOES all things at all times.

“I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.” (Gal 1:6-9 NLT) read more
