The first people who populated the Americas

The first people who populated the Americas

First people in the Americas
Where did the first people in the Americas come from?

“We are getting closer to understanding who the first Americans really were,” BBC News reported in an article published on March 30, 2017, entitled “The first people who populated the Americas.”

“They probably came on foot from Siberia across the Bering Land Bridge, which existed between Alaska and Eurasia from the end of the last Ice Age until about 10,000 years ago. The area is now submerged by water.

There is still debate about when these first Americans actually arrived and where they came from. But we are now getting closer to uncovering the original narrative, and finding out who these first Americans really were.” read more

Can someone who believes in the Trinity have a relationship with God and Christ?

Can someone who believes in the Trinity have a relationship with God and Christ?

Relationship with GodCan someone who believes in the Trinity have a relationship with God and Christ?

The short answer, based on the Bible, is apparently so. They can still have a relationship. Why? All human knowledge is partial, not total.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?” (Rom 11:33-34 NIV)

While the Trinity doctrine is unscriptural and demonstrably false, probably 99% who believe in it only do so because they were told it was true. Since the Trinity doctrine makes no sense, these simply assume they are supposed to believe it. read more

Bible Authenticity – Is the Bible Reliable?

Bible Authenticity – Is the Bible Reliable?

Is the Bible reliable?
Can the Bible be trusted?

Is the Bible reliable? Does it contain myths, or are the stories true? Did the writers simply write down stories they had heard from other people, or did they experience the things firsthand that they wrote about?

The Bible is not made up of cleverly devised fables or myths. Many of the Bible writers were actually eyewitnesses of their written accounts. (1 Peter 5:1) Eyewitnesses also handed down their accounts to others who carefully researched these things. (Luke 1:1-3) Still others studied and pondered. (Ecclesiastes 12:9-10) But none came from human will. (2 Peter 1:21) All scripture was inspired by God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) read more

“Real-life zombies that are stranger than fiction” is the title of an article that was published by BBC News on March 13, 2017.

The article states that “some fungi, viruses and bacteria have evolved….”

They start from this position that they had to “evolve.” They could not have been “created.” That is not a possibility.

“Perhaps the most famous fungus, Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, prompts its hosts to end their days perched under a leaf. Those that have succumbed to Ophiocordyceps australis, meanwhile, will die in the forest litter below.” read more
