WHO IS JESUS?
“The true God” has “his Son, Jesus Christ” (1 John 5:20).
“Yahweh” “God Almighty” “has glorified His servant Jesus” (Exodus 3:15; 6:2,3; Acts 3:13 LSB).
“The doctrine of the Trinity is embedded in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation” (The Master’s Seminary Blog). With such a bold statement as this, we would surely expect the Trinity to be in Genesis, the first book of the Bible. Is the Trinity in Genesis?
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). “Let us make mankind in our own image” (Genesis 1:26 NIV). The Hebrew word “Elohim” is translated “God,” which is the plural of “El,” so it is asserted that “Elohim” stands for the Trinity. In other words, it is claimed that “the Trinity created the heavens and the earth,” and “the Trinity spoke to itself (“us”) about creating humans.” Since, however, the Hebrew “Elohim” is also used for excellence or majesty, and, in the Bible, often is used for the Almighty God, Yahweh. Even the singular pagan god Dagon is described as “Dagon our god [Elohim]” (1 Samuel 5:7). So the use of “Elohim” does not guarantee that the “God” referred to is plural. The Biblical Almighty God is a singular God, according to the Bible. Notice: “Yahweh is our God. Yahweh in one!” (Deuteronomy 6:4 LSB). The Hebrew word for “one” used here is “echad”, the numeral “one”. Jesus quoted this by saying, “YAHWEH OUR GOD IS ONE YAHWEH” (Mark 12:29 LSB margin). The Greek word for “one” used here is “heis”, the numeral “one”. “God is only one” (Galatians 3:20 NASB). “There is no God but one . . . for us there is but one God” (1 Corinthians 8:4,6). Even if “Elohim” had been used in its plural sense in Genesis 1:1,26, there is nothing to indicate a threesome. Thus, Trinitarians simply imagine the Triune God right into the text Genesis 1:1,26. and never stop to really think it through. There isn’t even one single aspect of the Trinity dogma in this context, i.e., nothing about three being God, or Almighty, or eternal, or equal, or of three being of one “substance”, “essence”, or “being”, etc. There’s simply nothing in the text to even hint at three of anything.
Psalms is one of the longest books in the Bible. Based on what many scholars and experts assert, we would expect to find this doctrine in such a long and prominent Bible book. Is the Trinity in Psalms?
Does it strike you as odd that even the most scholarly proponents of the doctrine admit it is neither understandable nor explainable?

God is infinitely greater than we are; therefore, we should not expect to be able to fully understand Him. It’s possible to understand some facts about the Trinity and some of the relationships the different Persons of the Trinity have to one another. But, ultimately, how a single Being can exist in three distinct Persons is incomprehensible to us. Our inability to understand, however, does not mean the doctrine of the Trinity is untrue or unbiblical. The word Trinity is not found in Scripture. It is a useful term in discussions of the triune God, as we speak of three coexistent, co-eternal divine Persons who are One. The failed Biosphere 2 experiment of the early 1990’s illustrates what the Bible said all along. Scriptures are interspersed throughout this article amidst quotes from the BBC article about Biosphere 2.

Is God only one, or is he 3-in-1?

The important thing is, “What does the Bible say?” Let’s see, by examining the scriptures.
Is the Trinity in Matthew?
“A true and accurate knowledge of the Trinity is a blessing in and of itself . . . the Trinity is the highest revelation God has made of himself to His people. It is the capstone, the summit, the brightest star in the firmament of divine truths”—The Forgotten Trinity, page 10

Even though the Bible is clear that there are, “in fact there are many gods and many lords” (1 Corinthians 8:6 NRSV). a question arises, Does Jesus being called “Lord” mean he’s God?
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS A GOD OVER HIM
Ephesians 1:3 – “…to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” This verse clearly indicates that Jesus has a God over him. This God of Jesus is his Father. Someone who has God over him cannot be God. The fact that Jesus is called “Lord” obviously doesn’t make him God.
Ephesians 4:5,6 – “one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all.” (ESV) Jesus is the “one Lord” here, and Yahweh, his Father, is the “one God.” This unity is expressed in very simple terms. A key takeaway from this verse is that the “one God” does not include the “one Lord”, Jesus Christ. Without Jesus being God, the Trinity doctrine collapses.
1 Corinthians 8:6 – “there is for us only one God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live.” (GNB) – An obvious distinction is here made here between God, who is “the Creator of all things”, and ‘Jesus Christ, through whom God created everything’. Even though Jesus is called “Lord”, that doesn’t make him either “God”, or “the Creator”. Those titles belong to the “the Father”, as we can see from this verse.
Many alligators live in the Florida Everglades.
All living things are claimed to have originally developed from non-living matter, and then gradually and continually undergo Darwinian evolution over millions of years of time.

The Bible reports that, “God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moved about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind, and God saw that it was good” (Genesis 1:21 NIV). God created all the creatures that make their home in the water, “according to their kinds”, that is, there are barriers as reproduction, or cross-breeding.

Many people wonder, “Who Is God?” He is often thought of as a spirit being and independent of the material creation, while pantheism holds that he is the universe itself. Many believe “there are many such gods” (1 Corinthians 8:5 REB).
This article does not claim to be all-inclusive, but these are some of the primary things we are told in the scriptures about the Almighty, such as who and what he is, but also about what he is not.

Only the Bible can make sense of the standards by which we evaluate whether or not something is true. One such set of standards are the laws of logic. We all know that a true claim cannot contradict another true claim. That would violate a law of logic: the law of non-contradiction. The statements “The light is red” and “The light is not red” cannot both be true at the same time and in the same sense. Laws of logic thus represent a standard by which we can judge certain truth claims. Moreover, all people seem to “know” laws like the law of non-contradiction. We all assume that such laws are the same everywhere and apply at all times without exception. But why is this? How do we know such things?
If we consider the biblical worldview, we find that we can make sense of the laws of logic. The Bible tells us that God’s mind is the standard for all knowledge because, “God . . . has perfect knowledge” (Job 37:15,16 NIV). “God has hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ” (Colossians 2:3).
