Where did Native Americans come from? Are they descended from the so-called “Ten Lost Tribes of Israel”, as some, most notably, the Mormons, claim?

Is the Bible reliable? Does it contain myths, or are the stories true? Did the writers simply write down stories they had heard from other people, or did they experience the things firsthand that they wrote about?

The Bible is not made up of cleverly devised fables or myths. “We did not follow cleverly devised myths when we known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:16 NAB). Many of the Bible writers were actually eyewitnesses of their written accounts. “But we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty” (2 Peter 1:16 NAB; see also 1 Peter 5:1) Eyewitnesses also handed down their accounts to others who carefully researched these things. There is no doubt that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead. “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:17 NAB). But how was he resurrected? In a physical body, or in a spiritual body? Were his appearances physical or spiritual, as a spirit?

“Real-life zombies that are stranger than fiction” is the title of an article that was published by BBC News on March 13, 2017.

The article states that “some fungi, viruses and bacteria have evolved….”

They start from this position that they had to “evolve.” They could not have been “created.” That is not a possibility, they claim.

“Perhaps the most famous fungus, Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, prompts its hosts to end their days perched under a leaf. Those that have succumbed to Ophiocordyceps australis, meanwhile, will die in the forest litter below.” read more
