Abortion – The Bible’s View
The following Scriptures help us to have God’s view of abortion.
“You saw me before I was born” (Psalm 139:16 NLT) — God’s view of life during the very early stages after conception, is obviously that the unborn child is a person, by saying “You saw me”.
“At the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her” (Luke 1:41) — It does not say fetus leaped, it says the baby or child leaped. Unborn and newborn are referred to by the same Greek word. Therefore, God views the unborn as humans.
